어린 시절의 기억은 때때로 말보다 강한 이미지로 우리 안에 남습니다. 

작가 더미(Dumie)는 그러한 무의식의 조각들을 회화와 설치 작업을 통해 유쾌하게 풀어냅니다. 

흘러간 시간 속에 묻힌 개인의 서사를 통해 모든 이가 공유할 수 있는 감정의 공간을 마련합니다.

프랑스 브장송에서 조형예술을 전공한 작가는 ‘기억’과 ‘영혼’이라는 추상적인 개념을 감각적인 이미지와 생동감 있는 색채, 자유로운 선의 조합으로 시각화합니다. 

이번 전시 ‘어제의 영혼(L’âme d’hier)은 회화 및 작가가 직접 자른 나무에 구성한 입체드로잉 등 총 20여 점의 작품을 선보입니다.

전시 감상을 통해 과거를 회상하며, 우리가 놓쳐버린 감각과 내면의 울림을 다시금 돌이켜보는 시간이 되시길 바랍니다.

Childhood memories sometimes linger in our hearts as images stronger than words. 

Artist Artist Dumie playfully unravels these unconscious fragments through paintings and installations. 

Through personal narratives buried in the passage of time, he creates a space of shared emotion for all.

The artist, who majored in plastic arts in Besançon, France, visualizes the abstract concepts of "memory" and "soul" through a combination of sensual imagery, vibrant colors, and free-flowing lines. 

This exhibition, "The Soul of Yesterday (L'âme d'hier)," features approximately 20 works,paintings and including three-dimensional drawings on wood cut by the artist himself.

We hope that viewing the exhibition will provide an opportunity to reminisce about the past and revisit the senses and inner resonances we have lost.
